About
Working on this project over a three year period, IPCL undertook a range of works including intumescent coatings, fire boarding, fire stopping, acoustic and air sealing, and mastic joints. The construction duration of this state of the art hospital gave the opportunity to recruit and train a local workforce to work alongside our established management and supervision team. Many of the operatives are still with us and have risen to be supervisors themselves. Liaison with trades including curtain walling, dry-lining, M&E and Suspended Ceilings was imperative to ensure works were carried out in sequence to minimise damage to installed firestopping by others.
