Having previously worked for the site team on a number of smaller projects this energy from waste development was the first of three similar projects IPCL have undertaken. It was one of the toughest projects we have been involved in. An enthusiastic client took possession of many areas of the plant installing the process equipment before the fire protection systems had been completed. Consequently intricate scaffold was required to gain access to many areas the most impressive being a fixed platform built on top of the facilities’ crane in the Turbine Hall.
